    When we beat Wigan are we in Europe AGAIN cos our opponents will be either MAN UTD or CITY or CHELSEA all of whome will already be in Europe ?

    Yeah exactly as City & Utd are nailed on for CL but Chelski could still finish the lowest in 5th so will get a Europe league slot this season at the worst mate. <ok>

    It's a 3 way battle for 3rd place with the spuds, Chelski & gooners so worst case Chelski must surely get 5th. <ok>

    Previous seasons it's only been down too 5th place with 5th taking the Europe league unless I'm wrong and need correcting? <ok>

    I was thinking a short while ago that Millwall could actually make 2 pieces of history in the near future if the league form stays as dog ****.

    1. The first team relegated from the Championship to reach the FA Cup final in the same season.
    2. The first team to play Europe via the FA Cup and be in the 3rd tier of the English league structure.

    I dread to think what the biggest loss in a cup final is Thai! :eek:

    The way city have been scoring for fun doesn't bode well. Or we could avoid them and get United or Chelsea, they're rubbish right? I mean Norwich beat United and lost to Luton who we beat 3-0 so United should be easy.......

    It would be great to get to the final (and even win!) but I'm not so sure about the European football bit. It makes for a very busy schedule for Premier League squads and it would be even more disruptive in an already crowded Championship programme. I reckon that it would really muck up your chances of doing well in the league next season.

    I dare say we would crash out in the 1st round like we did last time so not likely to affect league form.
