So a good home win, with a good 2nd half attacking display & it is like a morgue on here tonight...FFS 1st half was much the same as last week, solid at the back but toothless going forward with no supply from midfield. 2nd half, hello who is this, much more attacking endeavour, crosses from both flanks, much more exciting. Apart from a couple of scary moments towards the end we never looked like conceding (apart from 1 wayward back pass half way through) First class finish from McGoldrick, who was excellent throughout along with Chopra, Smith & Chambers also another solid display.....also a note on JET a match winning clearance at the death....... ......1 point per game till the end of the season required.!
Believe it or not, I was interested in the reserve game midweek. JET, Hewitt and Nouble had a cracker apparently. It seems as though the cancer that was plaguing us (Simon Clegg) has been eliminated. I didn't hear any commentary or anything but the goal was so important. It puts us on the front foot and it means any points on Tuesday become a bonus. If we can keep it like that until the summer I can't see us struggling like this again.

Hoppers...I was browing threads last evening, fresh from travels and keen to catch up with things.......but I have to say that I was not happy with some of the language! There is no need to lower the quality of comments & views, the tone, excitement by resorting to loads of F.......ing and C........ts! Come on guys - lets enjoy the moment, the fresh feel, the 2nd half display and hugely important result, without dipping below the bar! If we nick a hard earned point Tuesday...a tough scrappy draw v Peterborough, and and another win at home, we should reach a safer place in a couple weeks.
