We need 1 more point to be officially safe. If we lose and Wycombe win then we could be down (depending on Northamptons result). If we draw then Wycombe cant catch us. We could still lose and be safe if Wycombe fail to win or if Northampton lose.

Massive gamble on whatever we do with formation and tactics. DC has to get this right. Its in our hands, we know what is needed.

So how do we set up against Mansfield? Do we set up to be tight and not concede? Do we set up for a draw? Do we set up going for the win?

You should set up to go for a win, an early goal would calm nerves from terraces + the players

It's a tricky one, but if you let Mansfield play then that would be trouble

If we play joined up football in the same way that we scored the second goal against Wycombe, we will have no problem!!
Of course we could have tried to play that way earlier in the season and not been in the lower reaches at all!!!

We need to go for the win 100 per cent. Wycombe were going for a draw and look what happened to them.

Mansfield don't have anything but pride to play for, but I think they scored first at the weekend so they shouldn't be taken lightly.

I reckon Torquay will beat Wycombe anyway because they are on a roll and they will prefer not to finish bottom. Oxford will have got a rocket after losing to Accrington, so I think they will get something from the Cobblers.

I'm quite sad about Torquay going down. But I'll be really happy to see the back of Wycombe for a while.

It is absolutely essential that we try to win the game.

No sitting back, no allowing Mansfield to dictate the game - we have to be on the front foot from the start.

If we don't and we start shakily, or heaven forbid, concede an early goal that make the large crowd very nervous which will translate to the players on the pitch. We all know what we're like when we go behind and the crowd gets nervous - silly mistakes creep in and we often concede another.

We absolutely must put the pressure on Mansfield and play football in their half. The players have got to concentrate fully and keep their shape - this is the ultimate in do-not-lose-at-all-costs games.

One thing's for sure, I am going to be unbefuckinglievably nervous until that final whistle goes and we are confirmed as safe. Then I'm going to forget this ****ty bollocking season and pretend it never happened!!
