we seen in the euro's Spain playing without a striker but how long before a team actually get rid of the defence as well and play 3 or 4 out and out midfielders at the back? Surely its soon?

Looking at Spain and Barcelona, we have seen them go with Busquets, Adriano, Mascherano play centre back at times and they are not natural defenders, even Xavi has played there.

I am backing Spain and Barca to be the teams that do this

I could certainly see Xavi, Busquets or Alonso playing centre half in those teams

I could even see Mata, Navas or Silva playing at full back

We usually play with 1 keeper 9 defenders and 1 forward.
