It looks like Liverpool are after a left back so does that leave Enrique up for grabs. For me he's one of the best in the league and would be a cracking signing. Would people be for this signing? Also im worried about the lack of playing time our lads are getting. Just saw todays friendly fixtures and there is plenty of prem teams playing today. Why aren't we playing? Big gap between Asia cup and sub par danish friendly. Im worried we might not be properly prepared, especially someone like altidore who looks like a confidence player and could have used a couple of more games and a few goals under his belt going into the Fulham game.
Got to say that I am unsure about the lack of pre season games too mate and hope its not all training and not enough game time. We shall see if its right next week? We have always been told that pre season is vital and yet we have had what, 5 games and 2 of them behind closed doors in Italian training camp? As for Enrique, I am surprised he has not made it at Liverpool but if he left, I reckon he would either go back to Spain or even back to the craas but I cant see us landing him. Good player mind no doubt.
I would have him. He's a recognized full back and a good one to boot. By good one to boot I dont mean PDC booting him up the arse
He's definitely one we'd like but think I read pools were looking for a LB as back-up/competition alongside JE? That's what leading clubs do, yet we haven't even got one!! Re. The games I share your concern. If PDC is leading a revolution of style, not to mention personnel, they need games to familiarise and practise. No idea why he binned the 2 Portugal games. Worried. Congrats on wedding btw, hope you're enjoying married life!
To be fair Remy's recent choice of club throws everything in the air. He's better than you and QPR put together.
No concern over the lack of matches, it is quality over quantity- look who we have played, Spuds, City and a team top of their division, not some Scottish club or lower league cannon fodder. Too many games on hard pitches in conjunction with hard training is a recipe for shin splints and others soft tissue damage, I reckon PDC has got is spot on, the players will be chomping at the bit to get at Fulham. Bring it on................
He already has a big contract and gets games. If he were to leave I'm sure there would be more attractive offers for him Bodes well for us then
Yes it does following on from bramble, ranger etc, be a shame not to have at least one player up at court
Aye mate. If you give him regular service. That means Arfa staying fit and Cabaye pulling his finger out. He wasn't a 20m midfielder last season even if you lot do think that's his value. And performances from the rest of your failing midfield. I reckon 10-15 goals. 20+ if he's getting good service but I'm not holding my breath for you.
