It was good while it lasted. I met Jim McGuinness at the match yesterday. He looks more like a rock star than a manager. I also shouted childishly on the motorway at Joe Brolly. I know I looked stupid but i didn't care.
we haven't had a beautiful Meath over here yet IA? You'll come to the other place for the GAA wont you folks?
Are there any previous cases of a GAA board refunding a disgruntled fan's match expenses? If so I want my 50 euro back for that dogshite display
Bad draw for Limerick and not great for Mayo either. Cork were impressive on Sat but Down just did not play well at all, or maybe they were'nt allowed play. Im going to be boring and go for a Dublin V Kildare semi and Cork and Kerry in the other semi. Hopefully the Dub hurler's don't get destroyed by Tipp but I can't see us beating them at all.
There should be no 'good' draws in the quarter finals, especially for teams that have had relatively easier paths there. That said, it's rough on Limerick to get drawn against the same team they play every single year. Through gritted teeth, I'd like to see a Dublin v Kildare semi-final, because that would mean Leinster would finally have a representative in the final for the first time since 2001. All the same, I'd fancy Kerry, Tyrone and Kildare to get through. The other quarter final is too close to call.
Was stuck amongst a section of Cork ones in the Hogan in the first half, moved round to the main body of Down ones in the Cusack at half time.
lol, I am just practicing the old yerraisms they have perfected in Kerry. And the Mayo stuff is a joke too based on the old 606 where a noobie would always pop up in january time with a thread that invariably read as follows; who will win the all Irelands? sam; Kerry dark horses; Mayo Liam; Kilkenny dark horses; Tipp they'd never be heard from again. It is a bit of a tradition now to back mayo regardless of their standing.
