While I`m sure it will change through the season, we seem to be getting quite proficient at the old `1-0` scoreline, may even prompt the new chants of `1-0 to the Hull City`. Fairly certain that as confidence grows in the front men we`ll start getting goals. Think Waghorn has added to what we had, and really pleased for the lad, should have had his first goal yesterday, but for an over zealous linesman. Heading in the right direction me thinks.
As much as the linesman made a shambles with the goal that should of stood, I think he redeemed himself throughout the match when a lot of decisions went our way when it should of gone to pompeys I won £20 yesterday on.... 1 - 0 Hull City
We could all make quite a bit of money off the bookies, cant see any other result for City at the minute. If we all had a couple of quid on City winning 1-0 bet we would'nt go far wrong !!! Congrats on your win BeverleyTiger Drinks on you next game? Lol
On the other thread you said you had Waghorn at 5/1 with a fiver on it. Thats 25 quid plus your stake back. To quote Unabomber calm down dear!!
I bet on City to win by a single goal, very nice return of £47.50. In a way I would have actually been disappointed had Waghorns goal been allowed.
Well no, of course not, but if both Koren and Waghorn scored, we wouldn't have won by a single goal, would we? I can't remember the odds exactly, it was a price boost prior to kick-off, that's the main reason I went for it. I was tempted to bet on a 1-0 win but took the safer option. Shame really, I won a reasonable amount but it would have been much more had I gone with my gut instinct.
I`ll be honest with ya...... 1-0`s will do for now, think the bookies will start cottoning on, the key is....... when will the first 2-0 come along... hmmmmmmm, better odds too me thinks...lol
Quite a big bet on a condition like that. I'd never risk something like that, many a fiver or tenner, but there's so many possible outcomes I'd rather put it on simply Hull to win. Less winnings but far safer.
my old man had the theory that he always bet on the opposition. that way he had something to look forward to if we lost and if we won he didn't feel bad about losing the bet.
I can see how that outlook might work but I'm not sure I could bet against my team to lose. I just go with how I feel City are performing at the time. I may make predictions suggesting City may lose but would'nt put a wager on it.
