According to Sky Sports News, Atletico Madrid have rejected a £38.5 million bid from Tottenham for Argentine striker Sergio Aguero!
I've just got back from Fulham and am most pissed off, does this extortionate amount of money justify me getting further pissed off or slightly more interested again?
 
I honestly don't have a clue!
I thought we were trying to make a £15m offer for someone half good this window just to freshen up the front line.
But Aguero for that money - great player but that fee worries me.
 
AMAZING!!!! Hope yous get him. He's an amazing player, truly exceptional. He'd be one of the top 5 players in the league without a doubt. He's not the kind of striker I think yous need really but if you can get him then you MUST accommodate him. Plus it means you'll stop sniffing around Carroll. Hard lines today by the way, it was a strange game but you've still got the CL to focus on :)

I don't think it is mate, they've been sniffing around a few strikers in la Liga. He's the only one worth the money but he's not really the kind of striker yous need in my opinion. He plays up top but in a more withdrawn role similar to VDV only a million times better! You need a Carroll type player (you can't have him) but can't think of many players in that mould who are available accept Llorente but there's already a deal in place to take him to Real in the summer so there's no chance of that. £40m could probably get you Carroll tho and it would be worth it.
 
GET LLORENTE INSTEAD!! Would be perfect for spurs, and he is my favourite player in the World right now. That would be my dream deal on deadline day. Guillem Balague has said that Spurs have bid for him, and Aguero, and Rossi and someone else.
 
This is complete **** I think. Some guy at Athletico keeps on saying he is rejecting bids in order to win popularity with the fans

There are bigger clubs out there than us however none have come in for him.

If he came to us there is the prospect of CL football and a possibility of that next year (Atheltico Madrid have no chance of CL footy next year).

We are based in London which some foreign players find attractive and we have a decent young squad which has the likes of Modric and VDV thus showing we have ambition.
