"Manchester City players enjoyed a fancy-dress Christmas party just hours after losing their unbeaten Premier League record at Chelsea, visiting a London nightclub as popular cartoon characters including Batman, Iron Man and Where's Wally." (Source: The Metro) You couldn't make this stuff up!* *Well, actually, The Metro probably did.
What's wrong with that, HIAG? They've got no midweek game this week and their game's on Sunday, so it was probably a good time in the schedule to have it. They may have lost the game, but they're top of the league, so they deserve to let their hair down a bit for one evening. Poor timing, I guess, but I doubt it had any effect on the result.
Ah, you see, that's what happens when one doesn't read the what's actually written and, instead, jumps too readily to a conclusion in a rush to make what one considers to be a highly amusing comment on a story about a rival team. Plus, why is there no way for OP's to amend the titles of their threads?
I saw it in yesterday's Standard. Mankini came as Ozzie, the worst was easily De Jong's mr. T outfit and Balotelli's was a lot more understated than you might expect. Not sure what's wrong with it though and unlike United they seem to have done it without treating the girls like prostitutes. Anyone know when the Spurs "golfing holiday" is?
To be fair, I'm sure previous parties with Joey Barton and Mario Balotelli have led to the club being banned from most of Manchester's pubs, clubs and bars as a precautionary measure. Are you dissing Ozzy? Right! Outside!!!
Tevez supposedly went as one of the aliens from Avatar. please log in to view this image Not sure why he bothered with the mask, to be honest.
