I was mortified at the prospect of spending £6m on him. £8m would just be total lunacy, thank god it has been rejected if it was a legitimate bid.

Yes, I also heard Bruce say that we were not in for Fletcher, which made the report of us bidding £8m even more ridiculous. Might be Spurs, though God knows what they would want him for.

All players are touted at outrageously inflated prices in this window, especially strikers, but this is just silly.

Rhodes could well be our star summer signing. I would be surprised if the Tom CAIRNEY deal did mnot give us first choice when they sell Rhodes.
