What a stupid piece of trashy journo fiction.

Ayre, Camolli and Kenny are the only ones who truly know just how much FSG are prepared to invest in players. It is not in their best interest to identify how large or small that figure is.

I don't think he's got an actual 'kitty'. I think it's more a case of if Kenny sees a player that he wants and who he believes will improve your squad then I think the board will support him

Nobody has mentioned a ''transfer kitty''.I'll tell you why..I don't think there is one. They will look to sign 5-6 new players and add the cost up at the end.Its not up to any of us to add up the cost...as its not our money. Its none of our business how much they spend on individual players, and its certainly not the business of rival fans either. When they are spending similar amounts on players.

Firstly never insult a mod the Liverpool board.
Secondly I never said you were wrong.
Or if you were taking a pop.
I said the piece by the mirror is wrong.I'm 100% convinced the people in the know ie Kenny Dalglish or Damien Comolli have NOT mentioned the words ''transfer kitty''.
Theres a reason for that and its actually both simple and clever and sensible. If you say you've got x amount in cash for players, other clubs will put the price of their players up.Theres a reason for that...they don't want to sell them. They have the right to do so too, because those players are under contract.
If they wanted to sell them..then they transfer list them.
I'm 100% convinced Man United fans don't know what the word ''competition''means. They think just because they are Manchester United and Paul Scholes has ginger hair that they deserve to win the league every year.

It was £40m, it was £50m, it was £70m.

If Kernny spent £70m but had a case for another £20m FSG would listen to his case and probably pay it.

When they were trying to sign Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez to the Sox they had reservations about offering seven-year deals instead of six for the first time in Sox history. Manager Terry Francona put his case to Werner and Henry and they went ahead.

    ESPN reported on the move:
(FSG) has abandoned fiscal restraint by making Crawford the first player in Red Sox history with a contract with an average annual value in excess of $20 million.

"Great move. Great player," said Yankees general manager Brian Cashman, for whom signing free-agent left-hander Cliff Lee now takes on even greater urgency. "Boston's got the money and they had a need."

Man United fans don't know what the word ''competition'' means.
In their own warped deluded tiny sad excuses for brains they have this atitude.
1.,We're Manchester United and we have a divine right to win the league every year because we're Manchester United and nobody else is.
2.No other club except Manchester United is allowed to sign players for big money. When Manchester United sign a player for big money its called a ''great signing'' and excellent business, and when anyone else does it,its a waste of money.
3.If Manchester United win a trophy, its an ''important trophy''.If anyone else wins it its a ''mickey mouse'' cup''.
4.Only Manchester United can decide what a major competition is.
5.38 is now bigger than 40 in the eyes of Manchester United fans. They are the most successful club in England because they have won 38 trophies and Liverpool who have won 40 are now in second.
6.Manchester United fans will not admit their team has flaws and will constantly mention the flaws of other sides.

No KPR - absolutely no United fans think like this ( well the vast majority don't anyway )

These are your own ramblings to help you justify your unnatural hatred towards United ( most / all Liverpool fans do hate us but you take it to another level )

United fans do admit to our teams flaws but you decide to ignore these posts as they go against everything you have fabricated in your own mind.

I was honest last time. It may not meet your standards but it is honest enough for me :

    1) Blatantly - our finance- yes they are poor which is making our squad suffer although it is manageable it's not ideal.
    2) Sustainability - the above mentioned finances are manageable whilst we are in Europe - however if were to have a bad season and not finish in Europe this could have a massive detrimental effect on the Clubs sustainability. Although I don't think the Club would struggle to find a buyer if it came to it.
    3) Certain individuals are good enough - ie Gibson, Bebe, Obertan. However as these are squad players I can live with that ( all teams have poor squad players no ? )

That should start you off on your ramblings adding various things to this list. Howeverfor me that identifies our main weaknesses ?

    Honest enough ?

Not honest enough, you haven't listed enough.
    Theres much much more.
1.Ferguson hasn't spent a number of years grooming a successor. If he wanted to promote from within with a suitable candidate,He would have to find someone to serve an ''apprenticeship'' for say the last 10 years.Unless he's going to manage until he's 80,thats unlikely to happen. The only other scenario is to appoint a novice with an experienced and top class coaching team.Man United don't have one.Mike Phelan doesn't count,as its widely reported that the reason he's such a poor coach is because players like him. They aren't supposed to.
2.You listed 3 players.Theres more than that. You failed to mention,O Shea,Brown and Anderson and Evans.
3.Unless the Glazers drop their asking price, its unlilkely Man United will be sold, thats if the Glazers ever consider selling.
4.Man United don't have a central midfield worth mentioning either.Ferguson hasn't identified this as of yet either.Thats the reason behind his bid for Ashley Young.Does he really need him,or is he just signing him so other clubs can't?

At the risk of getting into a repetitve argument with you :

    1) Jose with probably take over at United IMO . Therefore we will leave the 'grooming' to your lot.

    2) All the players you mentioned are good players - not world world class individuals but they do form part of a very good team. Would you rather have a good midfield unit or 4 good midfielders ?

    3) There Glazers have already rejected offers so your point 3 is absolute poppycock ( I heard that word today and found it funny )

    4) That central midfield that is not worth mentioning has been part of a team that has got to the champions league final 3 out of the last 4 years and won countless Premier League titles. Again not them solely but a team with a midfield as bad as you try and put it don't win anything.
