Probably a load of bollocks but both the Sun and Mirror are reporting that Hull are in with a £7M bid for Fraser, i like the kid but he's been dealt some **** injuries and for that money i'll drive him down there myself. Think he'll be an asset for them, just a shame he had some horrendous injuries which left him short of the mark for us.
Must be bullshit - he only has 6 months left on his contract doesn't he?? If they're offering 7M, I'll come with you to make sure he doesn't get out of the car!! Or I'll drive behind you in case you break down or crash!!
If he only has 6 months left on his contract, we won't get £700k for the lad now? This is either utter bollocks or Hull City's owner has gone mental.
I'm just the messenger lads, check out Sky Sports News, Paper Talk, sorry, haven't got link. I'd be happy to get £1m for him TBH, in fact if we let him go to free up wages i'd be happy.
We do have 7m if we need it, but we wouldn't pay it considering that he is in the last year of his contract! We also signed Nick Proschwitz in the summer for 1m so we won't pay 7m for Fraizer!
If it is £7m we would bite their hand off. More likely to be £1m-£2m he is out of contract in the summer
http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/papertalk Like i said 'probably bollocks' and i'm sure it is but his father/agent has said they would be up for a move.
Frazier is a great lad and would shoot Hull to promotion imo but he isn't a top Premier League striker imo. He is more a bottom 6 striker which is why we are there. We have too many bottom 6 players in our team and squad.
That's what we'll be looking for though. Anything else is above our station. Even promotion at this stage is a long shot. Also, i've heard rumours that MON hasn't even had a discussion with Bruce about Campbell. Sounds like his old man talking to the press again. I'd expect £7million to be our actual transfer kitty rather than what we're planning to offer one player. It'll include Meyler, Brady, a striker, and a keeper. Good luck for the rest of the season. My old man is Sunderland fan from South Shields.
Hull are a very well ran club now, and have made some very shrewd signings at the right price, the fee is likely to be closer to 700k than £7million! We paid £6million, but that means nowt, we know of his injuries and that stopped him from really making it here, but he'll go to Hull, score plenty, and we'll all give him a massive reception when he comes back to the SOL (I honestly think it will be next season, them up, not us down...). If we could sell him for £2million, it'd be a great deal for both parties, and more and we've had a great result.
I'd say £7m for the championship is a fantastic transfer kitty mate, by any standards. Bruce knows how to operate at a certain level and will get you promoted. Once youre there we shall see what he is made of but I guess getting there is the hard bit first. I think you have a really, really good chance of automatic promotion mate. Cardiff are favourites but have previous of bottling the final hurdle; Boro's squad is paper thin and they have no more money; Palace and Leicester are not consistent enough and the rest below are play off place teams only. Frazier would be a key signing imo for you and would score 10+ goals between now and the end of the season to get you there. He would score in the championship for fun imo. Good luck to you too mate and give your sand dancing pop a hello from the lads here.
I agree Cest. First time I watched them really, full match, was away to Bristol City and some of the football was fantastic, Elmo was pinging balls in, all at pace, and the lad Eluko (?) up top looked a really tidy footballer. Seen them about 3 times since, most recently v Leeds, and they have been as good as, or better than that day, Meyler was superb against Leeds and looked like he'd filled the gap between back and front. They could have had 15 v Leeds, and a lot of those chances fell in an area Frazer would have lapped up.
Even if he had been on loan to Hull and scored 15 goals for him so far this season he still wouldn't be worth more than £3-4m at most. As it is £1-2m seems much more likely, I actually like the lad and think that fully fit he's a good option off the bench for a midtable premiership side and comfortable double figures producer in the Championship but fully fit and match fit is a rare time for him.
Alright lads, doe's it sound like this deal could seriously happen from your end or just people putting 2and2 together and getting 5?? Ive heard today that MoN hasn't even been approached by Bruce. Would love to see him back here though.
I honestly can't see anymore outgoings until MON brings in new faces, we must have one of, if not the smallest squads in the league. I think he will move to you but not just yet, not until we strengthen, that would be suicidal.
Will almost definitely happen if we can get a replacement in, but not for the 7m quoted and it won't be until later in the window.
7million will obviously not be the real price, were do the papers get these stories. I could see it been anything between 1 and 2million. Thanks for the replies lads.
