Back when he was here, at the start, he actually saved us a number of points. We had bigger worries with Nicky Hunt and our shambles of a defense. There's a reason he's called Calamity James, and a reason why he played for England mere months before running out for us. He saved us points, but he also made some YouTube worthy howlers. Apparently, he also had an offer from Tottenham to be their #2 keeper, but he chose us. Looking at his wages, it's pretty easy to see why, and that we probably raised our wage structure to land him. Since Coppell didn't buy him, this is clearly a Lansdown signing.
