That was the obscene money that David James was earning according to the Andy Stockhausen report in last nights evening post per a week.

crazy money for a ageing goalkeeper.

And we wonder why we are in such a mess as a club:shocked::shocked::shocked:

and who suggested to cop out it would be a good idea to have him on board
and guarenteed to play at least thirty games a season
we seem to concede a lot of 3 goals or more per game in that season

Back when he was here, at the start, he actually saved us a number of points. We had bigger worries with Nicky Hunt and our shambles of a defense. There's a reason he's called Calamity James, and a reason why he played for England mere months before running out for us. He saved us points, but he also made some YouTube worthy howlers.

Apparently, he also had an offer from Tottenham to be their #2 keeper, but he chose us. Looking at his wages, it's pretty easy to see why, and that we probably raised our wage structure to land him. Since Coppell didn't buy him, this is clearly a Lansdown signing.

I am not worried about Jamo, it's old news, it was a bad time,no doubt but it's gone, I am more worried about now, we are without a league win in eight months, are winless in 21 games and have gone 11 league games this season without a win, we are now bottom of the 3rd tier having just been relegated, all of this achieved under SOD's reign, I bet he's on a fair wedge and his end product so far has been lamentable.

Something else we have to thank Lansdown senior for. Signed him behind Copouts back

Well the one upside is we have saved £20k a week since then, cause we sure as sh1te haven' stopped the 3 goals a game issue, despite 3 other managers.
