£10 million price tag slapped on Liverpool, Tottenham and QPR target Wigan and Roberto Martinez secured their Premier league status last night with a victory that condemned Blackburn Rovers to the Championship. They will now feel more confident of being able to keep hold of their star players. One of these, 21-year old winger Victor Moses, is being courted by Premiership giants Liverpool and Tottenham. Now QPR have expressed interest in the Nigerian international but will need to secure top flight football to have a chance of signing him. The Mirror reports that Mark Hughes is preparing a £7 million bid for Moses as long as QPR are not relegated. Bolton need to win away at Stoke and hope that Manchester City beat QPR to leapfrog the London club and avoid relegation. QPR chairman Tony Fernandes is ready to spend money again to drive QPR into the upper echelons of the Premier league and Moses and Wigan may be tempted by a lucrative deal. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool or Tottenham would be willing to match the offer, or if Moses would prefer a move to a bigger club. Moses has been in scintillating form of late and has been instrumental in keeping Wigan up.
£7 million would be a fair cost. Lets pray we stay up before even thinking about who we will sign next year though.
Guys trust me we will lose narrowly at Citeh, and Bolton will draw at Stoke, I never ever make predictions on here but this just won't leave my head, I just hope I'm right. I wasn't going to post this but if it helps anyone to calm down before Sunday then it has done a job. Be positive boys and Beth we will do it.
prem or championship can we not sign too many more african internationals with another ACoN next year!
