I think Excelebration is a seriously good horse, and his form line behind Frankel, and infront of Immortal Verse would support my opinion that he was the 2nd best miler from last season, better than both Canford Cliffs and Goldikova. Its just ashame for him, that he was born the same year as Frankel

Might work Cyc but if forced I think I would go for the one that can jump.

I doubt if anything could beat Frankel over 7f. My worry about BC over that distance would be that she has only run over it once and, although she won easily, she really beat nothing. If she comes to England I hope she just cleans up the major sprint races. One of the highest rated horses of all time, Abernant, achieved greatness as a sprinter. Sprinters are sprinters, stayers are stayers etc. Conformation plays a major part.

Re Workforce at 2m over hurdles. We are assuming that he can jump moderately well. I can't see a chaser going with one of the best flat stayers we've we seen in recent years. If it was on the flat, no contest as far as I'm concerned.

Workforce would only have to jump hurdles very moderately to beat Denman over 2m. <cheers>
