Just a poll... I´ve gone from 8th - 10th hoping the new signings can have a positive impact until the end of the season! I´d still take 17th mind! ahhahaahah
If and when we get the 7 or so points to feel secure, I'll be so happy the actual position won't be too crucial to me. It would be great, though, to have spent the entire season and to finish higher than the reigning champions.
Agreed. I genuinely don't mind as long as it's 17th or above and preferably not a nail biter towards the end of the season. I'll hold fire on this vote until we've reached 40 then I'll start to look up the table. Such an achievement to even be having this discussion now. Pity the media still not paying much attention given the absolute no hope they and the bookies gave us.
We will not finish higher than Chelsea who I reckon will get up to 8th or so, but there are enough teams below us currently who are likely to stay there. Although we have some tough away games, so do most of our mid-table "rivals". How wonderful it is to say "mid-table" - so I'll say it again "mid-table".
I think we are quite capable of finishing 7th-8th. However, top 10 will do for me. Amazing how we all thought 17th or better before the first game. But having been at goodison, it was clear that we were quite comfortable at the level of Prem midtable.
I am only hoping that we will be here next season, however I've voted for 8-10 as I backed Watford at very good odds at the start of the season to end up in the top half of the table. Come on you 'orns
i said 13th at the beginning of the season and though i'd love to be higher, i'm not greedy lol. 13th for me!
