Reds star named as the sixth most valuable player in Europe in latest Football Observatory research Liverpool star Raheem Sterling’s transfer value is £59.7m, according to an independent football research company. The Football Observatory, a research group within the International Centre for Sports Studies, has published its latest monthly report, entitled ‘Transfer Values and Probabilities’. In it, Sterling, who has been persistently linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, is listed as the player with the sixth-highest transfer value, at £59.7m. Only Lionel Messi, Eden Hazard, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Sergio Aguero are ranked higher. Reds teammate Philippe Coutinho, meanwhile, is 17th on the list, with an estimated transfer value of £40.8m, while Jordan Henderson’s £25.8m valuation leaves him in 48th place. Emre Can (£24.8m) and Daniel Sturridge (£18.4m) also feature in the top 100. The research takes into account a variety of factors, including age, performance, contract length and international status. It is claimed within the report that many of the most valuable players this summer will be under 23, naming Sterling, Juventus star Paul Pogba and Harry Kane, of Spurs. Sterling is ranked fourth in the list of players with the 'greatest probability of a paid transfer' this summer. QPR striker Charlie Austin is number one on that list, ahead of Albin Ekdal (Cagliari) and Paulo Dybala (Palermo). Coutinho is ranked 53rd. Liverpool, as a club, are fifth on the ‘aggregated transfer values by club’ list, below only Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Arsenal. The total value of their squad is estimated at £280.8m. - £59.7m for Sterling, big money. I'd want more than £40m for Coutino though! Can's value has risen by £14m this season.
I seriously doubt City would offer over 40m and only that high because its a PL team they are buying from and he's an English international. #homegrown
So i really think this stuff is completely non real world and applies silly values to certain attributes If any reds fan wantts to have a gush o nthis fine. 1. Henderson - increased in value 1.5x 2. sterling obviousyl increased in value 10x 3. Coutinho increased in value 4x 4. can increase 2x 5. sturridge increase in value but 1/3rd overall its a compelte so what kind of thing.
They never really wanted Ings, they just wanted us to pay more for him because Levy doesn't seem to like us.
