We have had a £15M bid rejected for Nigeria and CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa and were expected to go back in with another bid His release clause is £22.8M but CSKA are rumoured to want £19M
Looks like Man Utd want him now - was listening to 606 after the Stoke game and Savage said that what clubs should do is see who we are after and outbid us and it looks like it is happening... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/638922/Man-Utd-Leicester-Ahmed-Musa-Transfer-News-Gossip
... saw another article hinting that he would be mad to choose Man Utd over us ... suspect they are meaning that Van Ghoul's 'anti-football' style won't suit ... never thought I'd be reading something like that in my lifetime
We have had 4 bids turned down for Musa last one was nearly £19M Musa is open to coming here but CSKA are adamant he isn't leaving this window Should we bid £22M they would be powerless to stop him due to his release clause in his contract
Bid was £18.7 according to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35454860 Can't believe that we can even bid that much for a player - something else that shows how far we have come.
According to the ever reliable Daily Mail we have bid £20M for Musa and if that fails we will go after Dwight Gayle If Musa is the man we really want why stop at £20M when you know CSKA are powerless at £22M. Whats £2M in the grand scheme on things?
CSKA will accept £20M although Southampton are after him as well according to http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...chester-united-face-transfer-deadline-7283104
I would be surprised if Man U actually want him and after signing Charlie Austin I can't see Southampton going for him, he is too similar to Sadio Mane aswell
