I find it ridiculous how easy GCSE Maths is. It's so incredibly basic, yet it's all so many people ever do.
Is Engineering really difficult? I have a friend who's doing it in Oxford next year. He's the most hardworking guy I know though, so he'll be fine.
Plus a Maths degree seems to be very good for keeping your options open in that regard.
