LR would still be positive if his nob fell off. I am sure he must have attended a course in positivity. Vern.

Match Day Thread Hull City v Sheff Wednesday

Drop Vinagre and start with Greaves at left back. The defence looked much better at Norwich when Vinagre went off and the switch was made.

Match Day Thread Hull City v Doncaster Rovers

The writing was on the wall towards the end of last season. While mathematically safe on points from relegation we persisted with this possession based football which was frankly awful to watch. If anything, on recent displays, the style of play is even more boring and lacking intensity.

Match Day Thread Hull City v Doncaster Rovers

Ingram for me is not the answer. He never catches a ball direct from a corner which for a professional keeper is worrying. The defence looked much better with Darlow between the sticks but sadly that ship has sailed. The style of play has not improved and if anything has got worse. I worry about...

Match Day Thread Hull City v Doncaster Rovers

Expect Wednesday to replicate exactly how Donny played last night. It's not rocket science how to stop City playing.

Match Day Thread Norwich v Hull City

Norwich were physically a much bigger team than City. Furthermore their passing was more slick and they looked to be a much fitter team. Vinagre did not look match fit and the protection he was offered by the young winger was non existent. I could have dropped my pie when there were no changes...

At least one Hull team took their opponents to the cleaners this weekend. Good luck next week old chap.

Match Day Thread Norwich v Hull City

The defence looked much stronger when Greaves moved to left back. I am not sure whether Vinagre is match fit or not but I was looking forward to seeing him play and in truth he looked all at sea, especially in the first half. Sadly the players playing in front of the full backs did little to...

View from the stands. Midfield looks very lightweight. Delap looks decent but up there on his own. Always a bad time to concede. Hopefully some changes at HT. Christie on to play in front of Coyle. Rerver has it right watching on the box. Vern.
