Do we have an issue "getting over the line"?

We've been better than many title winning sides already under Arteta - the issue is Peps City just pipped us to that title in 23/24. There was no collapse - we finished that Season with only won loss in the 2nd half of the Season. (89 pts) But it's true Arteta and the squad don't know how to...

Bayern Munich not big game?!... Atletico Madrid not big game? Tottenham not big game?...City not big game?.. Newcastle away not big game?... Can't be easy playing for this Club if this is the level of negativity you get whilst being Top or the league & Top of the Champions League. <laugh><doh>

Arsenal Team News and Injury Updates

Anyone else finds Artetas press conferences kinda infuriating as they always start with 'Injury updates' and Arteta rarely ever gives any information. It's always so and so 'needs to have some test' or 'we are asessing them' .. he deliberately keeps the information ambiguous. Seems Saliba...

Jesus is a really good player - but has never shown the level of finishing required. Technically though I've always felt he's a player capable of 25+ goals a Season. Gyokeres I feel will be the option against low blocks - as he's a battering ram & will stretch defences. He needs to improve...

With Gyokeres he definitely needs a few goals for his confidence. Im hoping he can score against Wolves. Gonna be interesting to see who starts when (and if) we have Gyokeres, Havertz ands Jesus all fit at the same time.

Arsenal Team News and Injury Updates

The last two years have been insane for Injuries.

I preferred the way Pep used to setup with a false 9. I'm not saying it's better now - more that he's just committed to it. Selling Alvarez was a mistake also.

Yeah we need Rice back. Having Saliba back will be a huge plus as well. If we can bring our performance levels back up to where they were when we beat Bayern and Spurs we will win this for sure. But we need to play better than we did against Chelsea/Brentford.

I guess I just don't think Liverpool were that good. Salah was phenomenal but they scrapped through a LOT of games and had many a favourable VAR decision.

The thing that annoys me is we are already hearing the narrative the league is weaker this year.. and it's just because Arsenal are likely to win it. Last Season Liverpool won the league on 82pts ... does anyone really think Arsenal wouldn't have gotten more points than that without an Injury...

Be interesting if Haaland got injured as well. Their whole system now is built around him.

I was going to say yesterday (before they lost to Leeds) that NOWAY are Chelsea title challengers. Sure they have good attacking young players but they are too error prone to make a consistent run. City will be our main challenge come March.

He's hilariously cynical. 18 games unbeaten, top of the league and the Champions League. Plenty of reasons to be optimistic

2-0 good result. Performance was mid but I always felt we could go up a gear. Need to play better on the weekend.

Na reminds me of Gervinho there's no end product. We look better now IMO with Saka and Eze on.

Not bad. 1-0 been wasteful in front of goal. Merino continues to bang the goals in. Martinelli's struggles in these games against a low block. Madueki is quite frustrating - he will beat 2-3 defenders and then fire his shot into the stands. Inconsistent.

Felt like the first goal was important today - you don't want to concede against a team with 5 at the back.
