As the wages weren't actually late just not on the usual date I don't think the EFL will care or be able to use that as a reason for sanctions

It was picked up on when the original deal for McBurnie was rejected by the EFL. Some thought this was due to a wages cap per player but its overall. We got some off the payroll so the deal could then go through(he might have even reduced his wages demand, but that doesn't sound like a footballer)

I think its that he felt it after the game so wasn't risked but he's still feeling it so going for a scan to check its ok. So could be nothing or could be reasonable period of recovery
