And Leaburn with number 4. Is it me or is their keeper easily confused?

Louie Watson with a neat finish. 3-0.

Match Day Thread Home v Blackpool

Could have happened - we looked as if we were going to get a third. Just a bit of composure and we score. 2-2 was probably fair but we looked good again going forward. I went outside gor a couple of minutes and missed both goals, but that was a great recovery.

Match Day Thread Home v Blackpool

Feels wrong to post the match thread after @ThePenguin s successful run, but here we go. After a good 4-1 win in midweek against a handy Exeter, we're home again against Blackpool, who sit a point above us. A return home for Albie Morgan (I never had the issue's with him that other fans did but...

Match Day Thread Home Vs The Grecians

I went on the BBC to see what they thought of the red card - they didn't really comment beyond ' a red card for a lunging tackle'. However, there is a comment's section which I've never seen before on there, and I was happy to read the follwoing comment: A2C lives on!!

There was only the one decision I remember that favoured us, but as it was a red card when they were chasing the game, it basically swung the game to us (I'm sure I heard on the half time discussion that Exeter had a good penalty shout turned down as well, but I missed that as I was working).

Leaaaburn!! 3-1! Nice to have a cushion as we still look vulnerable at the back.

CBT with an equaliser after a good Aneke header. To be honest I think we've looked a lot better than Exeter (although they have opened us up at the back three times). 1-1

Match Day Thread Home Vs The Grecians

First half agaonst Shrewsbury, CBT and Leaburn were pretty anonymous and May was a lone figure up front. It meant the ball kept coming back to the Shrews, which in turn meant we were doing a lot of defending. Might be time to give Leaburn a break and try something new. Our forward line has been...

    Some paintings

Finished this two weeks ago but only just got around to shrinking it so I can post it on here. view of the village I live in here in Spain from the mountains out the back. From a photo I took just after lockdown began to wind down, so it's a nice memory of getting out of the house again for me.

Match Day Thread Away Vs The Shrews

An away point was a good thing, although I was really hopng for three. But overall, three points would have been robbery. Yes, we actually turned up in the second half and had a few chances, but the Shrews had us on the back foot for the first forty five, including two great chances in stoppage...

Second best in the first half, to the exten we were hanging on at the half time. Second half much the same although we are finally starting t cause them problems at the ack. But as it stands, the best chances have all been for the Shrews. Leaburn off.

Worked last time. Can you keep him in your house? Should see us go up as champions <laugh>

Yeah, I'm dreaming of an away win tomorrow, which is usually enough to give the home fans a nice three points. Surely we canbeat a team that has lost three on the bounce?

    Football News

Scunthorpe in big trouble by the looks of things. Their owner described the fans as 'spastics' in one tweet that surfaced this week. As it was a quote of a quote, the reality of whether the chairman was daft enough to say that isn't proved, but the same quote has him going on to say 'I will stop...

Be nice if with all the technology we have, we had volume controls for dialogue and background music. Annoying football commentators gone at the click of a switch.

    Groundhopping - A Tiddler’s Travels

That guy in the second photo looks like a Charlton fan witnessing Charlie Kirk coming on as a last minute sub. There was another one with a guy in a T shirt that sported the phrase 'mancha verde' which in Spanish would translate as 'green stain'. Incontinent fans out there Elfs?

I binge watched it over a fortnight this month. Utterly sublime and Sarah Lancashire was fantastic (although Charlie Murphy made it for me ). Very gritty in places, especially in the first series when the young WPC died, but gripping - in a book you'd definately call it a page turner, and want...

Match Day Thread Home Vs Wycombe Wanderers

To be honest, a very good start to the Appleton reign. Two awkward fixtures and four points. To be fair, Appleton has a bench with useful players on it, whild Holden was literally down to blooding young players on a weekly basis. But while we were second best for quite a bit of the second half...
