We are weak up front as well as at the back but I'd concentrate on back 4 as we've at least got 1 striker. We've got 1 starting defender imo.

We can do both. You don't need to wait til end of window to sign good players. The amount of players we need means they are giving themselves an awful lot to do in a short period of time. Given how long it's taken to get what we've got its unclear if they can get the job done.

It proves you don't need to wait for good players every time though. We don't know the strategy but they're going to have to alter something or risk not having a squad to achieve the seasons goal of promotion

And teams use more players than 40 years ago! The rules changes a few times too back pass rule and the advent of technology changing pitches, balks and equipment made game much faster. This causes more injuries and increases the need for more players. The days of 14 players in a season are long...
