Match Day Thread Hull City v Burnley

As said before it’s been like it for years going back to the Peter Taylor days. I think it must be the stadium, maybe there is some form of witches curse

Transfer Rumours January '23 Transfer Thread

Yep, I was there, along with what seemed well over a 1000 Sheff Utd fans in the home end. Bastards. Was on Tiger Travel and remember rivers of piss on the coach cos someone had a slash into a bottle and then just let it fall over. That was on the way there !!!!

Transfer Rumours January '23 Transfer Thread

I have a memory, which may be incorrect given my age, that Billy clattered into a keeper (could have been v Bradford) after about 15 mins. Keeper goes off injured, Billy doesn’t get booked, outfield player goes in goal cos no sub keepers then …. We lose 1 0

Arrowhead noise is insane … still a shot as you say BB, Bengals managed it last year but this seems a different game to me. Not optimistic

Bengals for me every time. Bengals are Tigers, Bengals are Hull City, Bengals have stripes on their helmets, why would anyone on here follow any other NFL team (Apart from location or birth right) :emoticon-0130-devil Anyway, loved Icky Woods, Montano stole it from us in 89 … the new Joe Cool...

Match Day Thread Blackpool v Hull City

Great result - didn’t see the match but reading the posts sounds like we finally deserved to win a match rather than riding our luck. Onwards and upwards … will be happy with mid table this year but let’s be honest, the league is wide open this year. Blackburn are second and have lost 7 already...

Loved Theo, in days when we didn’t have many, if any, internationals

Match Day Thread Blackpool v Hull City

2-1 defeat - which means it will probably be a draw as I’ve predicted a draw for the last 4 games … fingers crossed

My daughter's other arf took it on holiday with him - he really enjoyed it (and he prob only reads 2 books a year). Loved the local references, and he found out a few Hull Blitz facts as well (e.g. Prudential which he knew nowt about). So well done, I think he may delve into your earlier works...

    MOTM v Wigan

Sooooo much better last night - actually looked like a team rather than a set of individuals Sinik Christie/Coyle combination Oscar

    Sheffield United (h) - MOTM

Oscar - worked his bollocks off all game Seri - step above the rest of the midfield Errrr - the Blunt who ran on after the first goal, outpaced two rather portly stewards and then thought running towards the City fans in East stand would be his best escape route.

    Coventry (h) - MOTM

Slater Oscar Greaves Decent home debut for Woods, could be a gem of a signing there

Went with the Mrs few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, both of us thought the food and service was excellant. Different strokes for different folks - if you do go I would recommend the caramelised stew pot. Also recently been to Johnsons on Humber Street - the tomohawk steak is a joy to behold

Yeah, we didn’t know about it until we walked over the bridge. Really busy, great for the businesses down there. Think it’s on next weekend as well
