Exactly - you just take the criticism, these people are emotional and have lost friends, relatives and others. She should have been the first one there. It just gives a signal that they are a left behind community, and forgotten about.

Can I just say, I think Theresa May has acted appallingly to this. She should have met the victims straight away. You'll get criticism but you take it - you're bloody Prime Minister. It's a disgrace. But I'll sign your petition Beefy, no problem.

The Next Manager Thread - (Summer of 2017)

Pellegrino can't be someone that has been a long term target - relatively underwhelming managerial career, and had an OK season in Spain last year - ironically reaching a cup final. Interesting that Wilson says that De Boer was close to being appointed last summer. Schmidt would've been a...

But Inter are a weird club - don't have a good side like they used too despite their money. The guy they brought in to replace De Boer got sacked as well I believe? De Boer did a good job at Ajax, and has a good record with younger players. Personally, won't be popular, but could do a lot...

Could we maybe do a poll of a few names and we can all pick someone who we think will be the next manager. Just so we can see how wrong we all are in a weeks time.

Tuchel was always an ambitious choice - who knows - we may yet persuade him. The way Claude went last night, did give the impression that a new manager isn't too far away.

De Boer would be interested - but seems we aren't so keen. Could do a lot worse - but maybe better.

Forgot about Laurent Blanc - he's available, he's got a good track record as a manager. But Saints may avoid another French manager.

Tuchel would be an ideal fit. Personally, also like Jokanovic from Fulham. Some people talking about Paulo Sousa who has just left Fiorentina - would be a bit underwhelming I think. But, he is out of work, and that is something we have looked for in recent appointments to avoid compensation.

Thanks Claude. I'm glad the decision has finally been made, and all parties can move forward.

I don't think people disagreed with his Christian faith - they disagreed with the views he held stemming from that. I think his resignation words only emphasise that.
