Government reshuffle taking place today and tomorrow. Fingers crossed that all will be sacked and replaced by a packet of crisps. At least they have a positive effect on society.
(except Prawn Cocktail. Disaster)
Saints should've had these deals ready to go - we need to have at least one attacking player in before next weekend (Watford game).
Just highlights how unorganised we really are, despite all the guff and drivel from the board: 'We have a plan' 'we don't panic' 'we do things differently and...
Bit laughable when he says that Les Reed has been a manager too - he was a disaster at Charlton. I don't think its the players morale that needs boosting off the pitch, its Pellegrino's tactical and management ability on it that needs to change.
He speaks a different language to the majority of us. When things are going well, you can just about take it, but when they are not, you can’t stand it.
This interview came at a bizarre time really. We have had months of silence from the club. Before a game that we knew we had to win, leaves Ralph looking pretty stupid.
Bless FLT with his Star Wars match threads. Never mind New Hope, we have morphed into Phantom Menace with Jar Jar Binks in charge. Like Jar Jar, the powers that be need to cut their losses, and get rid.
Don’t see why he would leave Celtic mid-season for us. We are in trouble, and at real risk of heading out of the league - not exactly the best job for him to return to the PL.
My thoughts are quite simple: we had the game under control in the first half an hour and were positive in difficult conditions (weather and pitch), but we totally surrendered the initiative in the second half. Hodgson reacted to the how the game was going, and Pellegrino only did so when we...
Totally agree - Lemina has not be good lately, and is not justified in starting tonight ahead of PEH and Romeu. Davis I wouldn't mind playing, but he has to be further forward. Unfortunately, this manager only seems to put him in as a holding midfield player.
I don't disagree with any of that, but what I would say is that the fans are the public image of the club to the outside, and when they seem disgruntled, and the atmosphere on matchday is toxic, then the Club's image would be affected.
But I agree that the role of the supporter has diminished...
Biggest problem with MP2 is his decisions to take form players out of the team - he just opens himself up to criticism, just as Hughes did with his team selection vs Chelsea the other day.
Liking the positivity on here today though - hopefully Saints don't ruin it for us.
I think that because the majority of fans are looking for a managerial change, the club would have no option but to change things if we don't win. They would only get criticism and darken the mood around the club further if they didn't.
I agree with that - we just need to win to show that this man can actually motivate a team and get us to be successful when we need to be.
Of course tonight we actually have to score at least one goal to win the game. It's not the same as putting in a battling, spirited performance away at Old...
