    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

Not paying too much attention to the Super Soft or the Soft time when on a short run.. What has been missed slightly is the time that Hamilton did on a set of Softs at the start of a long run 19laps, without DRS, in the mid 1:21s... That for me is the stand out time so far..

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

There'll be a few Honda engineers performing Harikiri if they keep up this level of shambolic-ness!

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

Need to take the "reports coming out Italy" stuff with a pinch of salt.. But early indications are encouraging!

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

3rd year and they keep making the same mistake its simply not acceptable. 1st year you can understand, 2nd year you'd expect progress, 3rd year you'd expect to be at the very least reliable and fuel efficient.. But by all accounts, they're not reliable, not very powerful and we'll never now if...

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

So, it wasn't a Stroll in the park for Lance in the Williams #Puntastic! Bet Massa will be pleased if he keeps binning the car and it effects the time he gets in the car the following day! First day but not the greatest of starts for the rookie!

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

Eric to Jenson later on this week: Jenson... err, you mind coming back, we can't find Fernando... he's gone AWOL, don't know why, you think it could be related to the 7 engine changes in the first week of testing...?

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

Another reason it could be even worse for the fans is that, whilst Bottas is decent, do we think he'll have he balls to go toe to toe with Hamilton? Say what you want about Rosberg, but at least he got his elbows out every now and then! Bottas, new to the team, Hamilton the defacto #1 no chance...

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

Of note, Merc appear to be down on top speed down the straights, looks like they've yet to open the taps on the new engine as well.. The worry for most F1 fans would be that this performance is coming and they haven't even turned the engine up to 7 let alone 11

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

Pacesetter Hamilton is back in the garage after bringing his lap count up to 32, meaning that most recent stint on soft tyres was 19 laps. His 1:21.766 time came at the very start of that run so, with the fuel that would have been on board the W08 at that time, the pace was rather ominous...

    2017 Pre-Season Testing: Barcelona

Day one scores on the doors.. Merc being Merc, pound round, don't break down, throw in the odd quick lap time... Ferrari, very encouraging, good mileage, good performance, please don't be a false dawn!! Williams, good day, loads of mileage data, a bit of pace too. Hass, Early session issues but...

Match Day Thread Vs Leicester (away)

So, no Hendo.. for at least two games.. Hmm, could add weight to the "look how we played, told you we don't need him" brigade or.. "Out midfield was over-run without"... I fear it could be the latter.. His engine will be missed in the middle of the park, but I do hope Can will buck up his idea's...

    Transfer Rumours Transfer Rumours thread

Did mention this before, he's very similar to Wenger in the terms of signings.. If the right player isn't available then he won't sign players for the sake of it! He's got his long term targets and will most likely be working with our team on getting those deals in place in time for the Summer...

Match Day Thread Southampton v Liverpool - League Cup SF L1

Keep it brief.. The better team won not because we were ****e but because they were better, in defence, midfield and up top! Yes we were missing Matip, Henderson, Mane and Coutinho didn't start.. but I still expect the rest that were selected to have played better, much better! Well done...

    Off Topic Trumpy pumpy.

The funniest thing I have ever heard, bar none! I'm going home to throw out my DVD of Robin Williams, Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy doing Standup and just watch that speech again and again!

Match Day Thread Southampton v Liverpool - League Cup SF L1

Can't call this game.. Obviously like a win but Southampton are a funny side, when they want they'll give anyone a tough game! Can't see them dropping off today, a couple of games from the Final, they'll be up for it, hopefully we withstand the first 20mins and then can have a go at them, don't...

Match Day Thread Liverpool V Plymouth - FA Cup 3rd round

Can see the replay having a few goals, you boys will have a go at somestage and if we field a similar side as yesterday, I'm sure we'll concede a goal or two, but if you open up, then we may nab the odd goal or two as well!

Match Day Thread Liverpool V Plymouth - FA Cup 3rd round

Worst game I've seen Origi play for us, offered nothing, did even less! Can has hit a bit of a Funk, but he's still a young lad, only 22, they're allowed to have a dip in form. Agreed, there was a bit of an overload on the left, if Can had been more central he'd have free'd up a bit more space...

Match Day Thread Liverpool V Plymouth - FA Cup 3rd round

Young lads did OK.. good control of the game but just a bit slow in the final third, move the ball quicker and we may have made a clear cut chance or two. But fair play to Plymouth, they had a game plan and stuck to it, can be certain they'll make more of a game of it in the replay and that may...
