Especially when the player has apparently been told by his international manager that he needs to play at a higher level if he wants to be picked...
You and @Libby may both be right. The how old is late question was a genuine one. I think your posts on Bazunu are very interesting. I'd never...
How old is late? He played for Shamrock Rovers at 16 and was capped by Ireland u15s so he can't have started THAT late.
I prefer McCarthy and voted for him. He's not as good with the ball at his feet but that shouldn't be such an important part of the keeper game...
I'm thinking short term fix. We're obviously going to a back four at some point but we've got three games next week and then an international...
Agree with this. For now anyway. Still keeps talking about the players being unfamiliar with each other so fine, keep working on the 4-2-3-1...
Still sounded pretty pissed off in his post-match interview. Basically said we're not playing too badly but keep making stupid mistakes and giving...
Yeah, I'm not sure either way but I thought it looked very tight.
I only saw the last half hour but that was surprisingly enjoyable. Quarshie looked much more assured and Ekitiké getting sent off for that goal...
On Wood, he'd played for Martin for 2 years at Swansea so on that one I don't think you can blame "recruitment" for signing someone who couldn't...

On rugby, I just looked at the live text coverage of a random Six Nations game. Kicked off at 16:45, half time was 17:32. Second half started at...
Based on some of his comments in press conferences, I suspect Still isn't giving the players a strong message on how to play. He wants the players...
Yeah, I thought this at the time, but having seen that goal again there's no way Bazunu was at fault.
I missed some of that but it looked pretty poor. They were half-decent right at the start but then it all went backwards until the last few minutes.
I also like the way the front row is all smiles and the faces generally get less happy as you get further back.
Aribo looks happy. <laugh>
I'm sure you're right and people could probably argue it's a waste of money to do it. My point is UKIP did it before under Farage's leadership...
I did think about that actually. It's never been a requirement (you vote for the person, not the party) but when Farage had people defect to UKIP...
Truly remarkable.
