Whyte v Chisora? Going to be a good tear up or two fat blokes chasing a bit of money? Not seen Benn's lad yet so will be interesting seeing him. I wont be watching the female bout. Call me old fashioned but i dont wanna see women in the ring. Though a good cat fight, hair pulling and scratching, in the pub is a fantastic sight. Manchester Arena Anthony Joshua v Eric Molina: IBF Heavyweight Title Dillian Whyte v Dereck Chisora: WBC Eliminator Luis Concepcion v Kal Yafai: WBA Super-Flyweight Title Callum Smith v Luke Blackledge: British Super-Middleweight Titles Luis Ortiz v David Allen: 8 Rounds Heavyweight Hosea Burton v Frank Buglioni: British Light-Heavyweight Title Scott Quigg v Jose Cayetano: 12 Rounds Featherweight Conor Benn v Steven Backhouse: 6 Rounds Welterweight Katie Taylor v Viviane Obenauf: 6 Rounds Featherweight
There's some good scraps on tonight. Benn Jr looks decent - just covered in **** tattoos. I don't think he looks as good as Eubank Jr though - who looks ferocious. AJ will win, but I do hope he's improved his top half body movement. Too static for my liking. Chisora and Whyte - both have zero class and lack fitness. Early finish in R1 or2for whoever can land the killer punch.
Disagree on the Chisora v White fight - all talk / hype & no action. 12 round bore fest, neither of them have any talent. Just big blokes
Whyte's proper dim, but I hope he wins, Chisora's a clown. I watched Benn's last fight, he looks pretty good, his dad was my favourite boxer back in the day.
Joshua will win in the first or second round total mismatch Neither Whyte or Chisora are big punchers so I'm going with Whyte on points in a bore fest.. Looking forward to watching Quigg and Benn
Quite by chance I caught an interview with Fern Briton and Nigel Benn last Sunday. He laid it all out, he's a born again Christian quoting the bible. He now lives in Australia and spends his time volunteering at his local church. He spoke very eloquently and considerately. Good on him.
I have sparred with Luke (he defended but allowed to punch my body, I attacked, landed a few, especially uppercuts as he came in to smash my ribs to pieces) as his trainer is the owner of the boxing gym I use. I got my arse handed to me but loved it.
did Ortiz win his bout? rumoured to be fighting Shannon Briggs (who can't get a fight, Lucas Browne failed a drugs test, Haye is scared of him..)
White v Chisora was unexpectedly good Joshua was miles too good, but Molina is no Mexican road sweeper. Having said that he didn't look up for it from the start, but even so he was dispatched with style I'll nail my colours to the mast now...I think Joshua will beat Klitschko
I don't think Joshua can take a punch, if there's anyone who is good enough to hit him hard enough is another question. AJ nearly has 15 years on him he'll do him. I can't believe Haye had the nerve to complain about Molina not throwing a punch that's what he did for 12 rounds against Vlad.
Credit to Wladimir for accepting the fight but he's going to get a beating in my opinion. Joshua has the brain, the strategy, the patience and the belief to be up there with Lewis
I don't think it will be an easy fight for Joshua by any stretch. I think he'll win, but I'm not sure you could say he's got a better boxing brain and patience than Klitchko . Good to see some respect from both of them though, for each other and for boxing...compare that to the WWE style of Chisora, Haye etc
