Are you a traditionalist? Is it turkey and all the trimmings or soup for your festive feast?

    On the Grove menu

    Turkey
    Maple Gammon
    Pigs in blankets
    Sausage meat stuffing balls
    Roast spuds
    Roast parsnips
    Carrots
    Long stem broccoli
    Peas
    Sweet corn
    Yorkshire puds
    Gravy

Mince pies with either ice cream or custard

    Celebrations & Quality Street

    Alka Seltzer or Rennies

I go even more over the top for the bash on New Year's Day!

Never tried it, but custard is sweet, so may not be too bad

Sounds putrid to this Michelin starred chef. But I will try it. Light layer and not too sweet...bake it off for 10 mins at a high heat to slightly crust into the bird. Gotta try to find out why

I've got the Tally relatives round this year so it'll be a bit more assimilated fare - turkey, bread sauce and such patter.

If it was just my Taigy relatives coming round, I'd be preparing the traditional leg of proddy wean supper to be followed by traditional party games that are pretty frowned upon in these post-Yewtree anti-fun times.

Turkey and ham for us and whatever else she cooks up. Roast totties, sprouts etc.

I'll just sit and play FIFA with the weans whilst drinking prosecco and see what trev is posting on here.
