Getting a bit sick of Phelan... Boro away... and we set up like this.. unforgivable

 

He was doing that whilst he was here I haven't seen many players transform so much over the course of a single season like he did. He was a real asset in the final quarter/third of the season but was wasted playing up front.

I always thought Brucie never got the best out of Gaston. Phelans managed it

 

Doing a Bruce then. It's on the owners, they couldn't get another manager for a change of direction.

 

And that's been our biggest weakness for years. 4 on 2 in the box and nothing comes of it. We never seem to convert a promising opening into a clear cut chance.

People say this as if we should be able to just go and compete with Boro regardless of how **** we actually are. We're like a Championship side on paper. They spent ****ing millions in the summer. Our best striker couldn't get into our Championship team last season.

With this squad, us being away to anyone is equivalent to a normal PL team being away to Chelsea

 

Phelan looked like he actually didn't expect us to concede.

 

I was listening to Talksport on the way home from work, Paddy Power was on talking about relegation odds, he said we were favourites at 4/11, I thought 'don't talk like a twat', I now think those odds are generous after watching this bollocks!
