Unfortunely I agree with you, the championship is a very different league and you will need a few scrappers in the mix either that or quality like Ash gave you it will be a lot harder 2nd time.

Problem is Jenkins was dishing our stupid contracts left right and centre. Look at all recent contract extensions, tying up some players on four year contracts.

If Bradley gets sacked , I wonder how much compensation we've paid since and including Laudrup ...Probably more than we spent on players getting from League 1 to the Premier .

I read it as Laudrup being on 30 million and his agent 3 million (1/10th Laudrup). The comp numbers should make more sense, although still bloody ridiculous!

Apart from the two years in the opld Div one I waited over 50 years to see football in the top division. Reality means I won't have another 50 years to see it again unless I come back as a ghost.:emoticon-0115-inlov

What quality manager would ever consider coming here ? We would have to make him one of the biggest deals in premiership football and then he would have to think twice........Nothing will change as we employ someone we have never ever heard of or a journey manager who has been out of work for a long time and no better than we have had in the past......Managers were turning us down left right and centre when Brendan left so i dont know who with quality would want to take a crap club like ours now........I can see Flynn back at the helm in the championship i really can....

This is the bit regards salary....it does seem bonkers!

"The leaked documents also revealed that the club paid Tutumlu around 10% of what Laudrup earned as manager, believed to be around 3 million a year"

I wanted to give this guy a chance and tried to stay positive and look for some positives in what he was doing, well time is up. I have come to the conclusion he is clueless and is so far out of his depth it is now an embarrassment to both him and the club. If he had any balls he would admit it and walk away and give the club a chance, but he wont and neither will our pissant owners get rid of him, we are stuck with him and them until the club has been totally ruined and they walk away having raped the club of anything that is of any value. Then we start again and get our club back. I am resigned to relegation and it is sort of acceptable as we are so bad, I did hope we would go down with a fight rather than a whimper, but it looks like even that isn't possible,

I hope the owners rot in hell for what they have done to our club, but I will still be here when they have gone as will all of you and then we start again.

One last thing for those who spoke in favour of selling the club, well I hope you have changed your mind.

Maybe Jenkins and his clan will buy it back at a cut rate ....come to think of it , maybe if we get relegated the Trust can get their hands on another 5 %...

I still don't see that getting rid of the previous owners was a bad thing as there was no future with them. Whether the new owners are the right ones to have sold the club to we still do not really know as all the negative criticism is supposition and uninformed opinion at the moment.

C'mon Dai, get with the program, there's plenty out there. Like I've already said, mcdonalds has just sacked one of their managers recently and all she has to do in her telephone interview is say in an american accent that she knows everything about soccerball and footsoldiers and the gig is hers. <ok>

We were not consulted and we never had any right to be consulted tbh....It was their club to do as they wish.....They never even told the trust as it was none of their business as they dont actually own anything to sell.........I would have done things a bit different but not much and if i was the owner i would get the best deal for me and i would not give anyone else a second thought.....That's Business im afraid........We now have the Americans who own the club lock stock and barrel so they wont lose a penny if we go down or not so we have little choice than to hope they can rebuild the club or even want to do that. Hopefully they have the interest to carry on and have a business plan in place and we should get an inkling of that when the transfer window opens....
