Amen.....a season and a quarter losing only 4 games ...as close as any team has come to being 'invincible' since those goons ... something no Leicester fan will ever forget .. ..we are now one of the glorious six ...might be quite sometime before that becomes the magnificent seven ...

 

IMO, both Pool and City have the same problem - A crap defense. Neither one can be relied upon to see a game out without conceding.

Arsenal may have a chance, but their defense is no great shakes either. Although if they keep both Sanchez and Ozil fit, they'll be there or thereabouts.

At this moment, and I stress the at this moment, I'd have to go for Chelsea. They look solid and organized all over the park. Their confidence is sky high, and they have a manager who doesn't tolerate backsliding.

As for us, top four is going to be a struggle - especially with a revitalised L'pool. But we, hopefully, can only get better and we'll see where we go.

 

Honest assessment

I think you and Utd will be battling out for 5th and 6th to be honest. Can't see either of you displacing Arsenal, City, Chelsea or Liverpool*


* Unless that is, Liverpool implode.

Chelsea will only get better once Zouma is back.

Kante was a superb signing for them. Personally reckon he'd had taken any of the current top four to the title.

In the last 20 seasons, our average finishing position puts us at 2.7, so even rounding it down our average position is 3rd.

However, I think you will find that if you ask anyone on the street the question "where do Arsenal always finish?" the vast majority will immediately tell you fourth.
