He's been good last 4 0r 5 games Comm.
Hasn't put a foot wrong really.

 

He's certainly improved.


Maybe there's hope for Rodwell yet.

He's improved to the point that he's decent enough there for us but in the long term I'd still prefer him to be backup not first choice.

 

He's still very average.

Amazing what a couple of wins does for the confidence.

 

Defensively he's improved massively, as has going forward. But his final ball and decision making still ranks with some of the worst I've ever seen from a full back. Shame cause he's getting in a lot of good positions.

 

Vastly improved under Moyes, but would still prefer a quality pair of full backs.

 

Wasn't Manquillo brought in for right back?

 

Yes he was mate, i like the kid and reckon he will be the preferred RB with Jones as back up.

 

In an interview over the summer, Deandre Yedlin acknowledged Jones' strong positional awareness and revealed he 'studied' Jones' positioning during his [Yedlin's] extended spell on the bench last season.

I am greatful for the tutorial - Jones is playing well, and we're winning - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Manquillo seems to lumber about on the pitch, and when the camera zooms in he often looks puzzled.
