We've got some goals in us too, after all our gloom about not signing a striker in the summer. Big Vic's made a massive difference. Without meaning to state the bleeding obvious, it's usually clubs who struggle to score that go down, as opposed to those that concede just 1 or 2 a game. We're scoring.
My thoughts to a tee. But he is slowly turning what looked like a lost cause arround and this gives me hope that he will be here long term.
On the points return that is fair enough, looking beyond the results our performance, apart from Palace and Arsenal, just did not reflect how the games had gone. Had we had a bit better communication between Vic, JD and Watmore on Saturday we could have blown them away but that will come with time and the training ground.
I've always said from the start a manager needs time, after the last several seasons the last thing we need is to change a manager. I'm afraid if we lost say the next 4 games will we be back to the Moyes out comments? .. Let's get to January still in the pack , hope we get a few signings.. Then see what happens... KTF
Haven't watched you guys enough to form an opinion. Going to have to agree with Wearside Giach, you guys looked like a really good team (although standard, you guys always pull it out of the bag at the end of season) that Big Sam had molded you into (like every team he does). I can see why Moyes got the stick, he's had some terrible buys (how much is down to him? you guys have a DOF right?). Robbed you blind for chilibodji and then you have mcnair and love who don't look great. As for Anichiebe going to AFCON, Nigeria didn't qualify so you don't need to worry there
