Off Topic Proud of my eldest lad..

I will be doing a charity bike ride next Saturday followed by a plunge in the sea at Roker beach at 12 noon (if anyone wants to watch me suffer they are welcome) to raise money for my eldest lad who will be spending 3 months in Zambia teaching Aids and sexual health awareness in an area where these are massive issues. I am proud of the youngen as well mate and will be heading out shortly to watch him play rugby for Sunderland.. He knows he let himself and us down last week, so hopefully he has learned lessons..

He is 16 and plays for the under 18's... He is a big lad himself, but some of the buggers are huge..

 

17s apiece in a local derby against Houghton...It was a cracking game..

 

I once stood close to the old English forward Micky Skinner and felt ashamed. I am close to six foot but he scared the life out of me just looking at him.
