Obviously the final score went their way so see it how you want but if we had buried our chances then we would not have got over-excited into going for all out attack leaving acres of space to be exploited.
We were 3-0 after half an hour man. We were 3-0 down when we scored our first and 4-1 down when we scored our 2nd. We weren't even close to getting anything out of the game. Leicester played the counter game perfectly and continued to do it all the way to the title. You remember a completely different game to me.
I fancy we'll win this one. I think we'll be bang up for it, the stadium will be buzzing and Leicester won't play well.
Bri, I am not going to the far end of a fart about this. I can only repeat that if we had at least one out of the three very good chances we had in the first fifteen minutes then the outcome could have been vastly different. Nowt wrong with my recollection of the game either, especially the woeful defending and the absent PvA who gave Albrighton(?) the freedom of the pitch to get his crosses in. Can't remember the name of the referee though.
I don't do coulda woulda shoulda fella. It's not like Leicester only had 4 chances and scored 4, they had chance after chance after chance. If you apply your logic fairly and balanced to both sides then you could adjust Leicesters score up to about 7 or 8 while you're giving us some extra goals. They had more chances and they scored more. Convincing win for them imo. But anyway, that was then and this is now. I think we've got a chance but gone with a draw as when ever I stop being optimistic we seem to pick up points.
Voted for the win. What the **** do I know! But tonight I've just doubled a 50quid bet that we'll stay up! I have faith!!!
Spelled more money than sense wrong there mate. I reckon we might nick a win this time. Anchovy & Defoe to make the difference.
I'm quietly confident now pops. I think we'll be fine. I also had a £20 bet with the bugger that Verstappen would take Rosberg's seat with Mercedes next season. Maybe that was ill-judged!! Twenty down a hundred up
Cheers for the thread RTB. Looking forward to this one - fancy us for 2 - 1. Bit worried that we'll be our usual generous selves and get Vardy back on a goal scoring run but they are poor at the minute so hopefully their dire away days continue.
Is Marriner the ref/ may change my mind on the score cos he will deffo give them a penna.I'll go for 3-1 if he is not myoriginal 3-0.
I fancy this game being like the Hull one, we will have our moments and nightmares but see us winning 2-0..
Gone for a 2 nil win. However looking at their away form is a little misleading I know they have only one win and a draw away from home, which is as bad as us, however they have played a lot of the top tes away. But they did lose to Watford and Hull so let's go with the positives!
Yep. I know. Hate the idea of giving him £20 quid but I'm pretty confident we'll get out of trouble so I'll get it back plus another £80 on top next year. Had ANOTHER £20 bet as well last night, feeling most generous or mad, pick one! One guy bet me that the Mags will finish top 8 in the PL next season. Couldn't turn down a challenge like that!
The way that Leicester are playing this year they are pretty much relegation candidates so I don't see any reason we shouldn't go into this thinking a win is possible but I've just got this nagging feeling that we'll help them kick start their season and remind Vardy where the back of the net is. Can see us scoring though so I'll guess at a score draw, 2-2.
The team formations will have a lot to do with this result, of interest here is the performance of our manager, hope he has a good day and makes the right team selection, the one at the top of this page worries me a bit. 2-0 to us would be a fantastic result, its the 0 bit that holds the key, Haway the lads.
