It was interesting that Wenger played several players who wouldn't be the first names on the teamsheet. Then again, we often play players who wouldn't ordinarily be the first name on the teamsheet, but because they get regular game exposure, through excellent squad rotation, they perform. Arsenal made 10 changes this evening, and a very big thing was made of it by the media. Saints made 8, and there was barely a media report of it, and one or two from the weekend weren't exactly first names either, yet they all performed like they were ever-present. so we win the first leg against a Liverpool second string who obviously play poorly. Liverpool then buy Messi and Ronaldo (because of some unknown clause in their contracts which means Fifa rules do not apply) and we accidentally break their legs and beat Hull in the final!
