So we go off what they earn now? if the standard punishment is £8k (or 50p) and is then raised to £16k (or £1.00) then it has been doubled. The individuals ability to pay is not their fault, blame the FA for the level of standard punishment for multi-millionair's. I am sure you will be whinging if Klopp ever gets a £8k fine sometime
Ehh yeah we do. I remember 10 years ago players getting fines like this and thete being outcry that ots not even a weeks wages. Reality check time. is mourinho on 10mil a year? Must be close.... thats 200k per week or som 16k fine... pah. its a silly fine. Everybody knows the inconvience of the ban like missing games is what matters to players and managers alike. If klopp ever gets a derisory fine like that id be saying so what.
You can say what you like but its clear west ham tried harder in league and tobight once utd retook lead game was over. Im really hoping they give us an early goal and payet is sulking when we play them.
I get what Astro is saying here, he dodged the press conference when they lost but made sure he was there tonight, the guy is acting like a dick at the moment and even the Utd fans dislike him already. He's going to be there all season but there will need to be an improvment next or he's not going to last. The Utd fans want good football, he has to deliver that at least.
all i can say is west ham must have been awful cos they let rooney have a field day and utd had no width. I'm hoping we get west ham and thrash them.
Oh. I thought you meant you hoped to get them in the semis... Yes, me too. I still think they're a decent side and they seem to have done ok against the top 6 so far in terms of performance bar City.
I think defensively theyve fallen apart abit for whatever reason. last year that 1-1 v utd would have been 0-0 and maybe a goal on the break.
Nope, it was all like "wahh, Mourinho is getting away with it, Wahh FA going easy on him, blub blub" The fact is, the punishments are the same for all, pitiful but the same.
Ironically, that's very similar to how that post sounded... "Wahh, they're having a pop at my teams manager, wahh, blub blub" ...
Not really. The argument was that repeated offending hasn't really resulted in a significant increase in the punishment. You then argued that the punishment was doubled because the fine was doubled when we all know that that sort of money is peanuts to PL managers. A real increase would mean a longer touchline ban or something similar. The only way to make people toe the line is to make the punishment hurt. Having said all that, I thought the sending off for booting the bottle was a bit harsh, unless he'd said something as well that was more deserving of the punishment.
