This is Mullins we're talking about! Mares novice hurdlers will stick to that race, he'll have plenty for the other races you mentioned. Can easily see him having a 1-2-3 in that mares race, all different owners too so likely they'll all pitch up there imo.
Thoughts on Djakadam at 12/1 for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Could be Mullin's sole representative. Could he do a 'The Fellow'?
Ah. I didn't spot that. Funny to be at the end of November and no-one seems to know what their going to do with the horse. Typical of Willie.
Was just having a look at the markets! ****ing hell! Is this the hardest year for a long long time to put a bet on and be confident about it! Some of the bets I have got on are ridiculous but hey ho Also the prices are appauling - the bookies are running scared- there's a lot of prices (near the top of the market) that I can see not going off much shorter maybe 1 or 2 Pts shorter. I'm not gonna risk losing all of it over a point or two difference. Come on bookies give us some prices to at least tempt Punters to have a guess
Seems to be quite a few rumours around Annie isn't working well and has put in a couple of bad bits of work..... no idea whether there's any substance to it but keep an eye on Betfair!
Total **** market isn't it Wooly. Willie did say she worked poorly before the Morgiana hence her withdrawal. Think he said she's never been a flash worker but that this was below her usual par. We will have to wait and see.
Due to the success of Unowhatimeanharry, in the Grade 2 at Newbury last week, Yanworth is now far from a certain runner in the ‘Long Walk’. Both horses are owned by the same fellow (that J.P. chap) and he probably won’t want to run both. Furthermore, Unowhatimeanharry is seen as a 3 mile hurdler and little else whereas Yanworth, in terms of distance, is deemed much more versatile so because of options the latter may be the one rerouted, I say rerouted. But nothing has been decided at the time of writing nor, as they say, ‘written in stone’. One thing for deffo though is that neither trainer will have much say in who goes where – it will be the owner and (play the sinister music, maestro) his racing manager making the decisions.
