I don't keep a cat or dog anymore, but one never loses the instinct that [especially] a cat will make sure it's not around when needed.
A hatrick of losers who have been found out today. Balls off strictly, Honey G off x factor Koeman off St Mary's None of them as good as their opponents and lucky to have got the acclaim that they did.
You could run a bath for yourself and my dog carried on snoozing....if you ran one for him, he'd be under the sofa.
I've just turned on the TV and Wayne Bridge is there on Celebrity. You know what, he seems a really nice guy. Normal, down to earth etc. And he still loves the Saints. And Pompey fans still hate him. I may download the app and vote for him
Yes I'm pleased to say he hasn't been embarrassing or a right nob at all. He won't win though as there are bigger personalities than him.
I'm very disappointed that people are calling Hamilton driving slowly on purpose yesterday a dirty trick. A dirty trick would have been Rosberg ramming them both out of the race to settle it there and then, Senna style. IT bothers me how sanitised F1 has become. Pie's Place would have been better.
Have people been calling Hamilton's driving a dirty trick? Is that in the media? I only listened on the radio and the main commentator asked if it was bad sportsmanship or naughty and each of the other three or four co-commentators (including ex-drivers) said that it wasn't. He was trying to win a title. I thought he did what he had to do. Try something. I didn't like it but only because I didn't want Hamilton to win the title.
Vettel said it apparently (sneaky): Vettel closed on to Rosberg's rear wing on the final lap but could not pass. He said over the radio to the Ferrari team: "It was a tricky situation at the end with Lewis playing dirty tricks."
Dear Beefy, I'm going to float a few ideas past you (mainly based on the fact that the human race has yet to find a political system that actually works) You're not fond of Castro and you're not fond of Trump who would be at opposite ends of the political spectrum. Communist vs right wing democrat. It's ok to sit at your computer and read dozens of sites written by Americans and Cubans who left Cuba and come up with a thousand stats that prove that Castro was bad. Before Castro Cuba was run by the Americans to make money from sugar, when Castro stopped that they made sure Cuba wouldn't make any money from their sugar. Trump is going to screw them again. I've never been to Cuba and wouldn't dream of saying whether the Cubans thought he was good or bad. I have an idea though. I came to Serbia in 2003. Yugoslavia had it's Castro from 1943 - 1980 (Tito). He too suppressed Nationalists, he too built infrastructure, a health service, a free education system and pensions for all. I've lived here for 13 years, spoken to people from every strata of life. 99% say it was better with Tito. The problem here and in most countries given democracy is that only the nutters put themselves up to be voted for! Beefy get your ass to some of these countries and talk to people! If you were a doctor, schoolteacher, shopkeeper, builder - was Libya better under Gadaffi? yes. Democracy doesn't really work where a country is divided by such strong political / religious / tribal differences. All the problems in north Africa and the middle east were caused after the world wars where people who knew nothing about the area drew big straight lines across the sand creating countries that could never exist and have since blown apart because they consist of all those different tribes / religions / races. Beefy, if you'd like to visit Serbia I'd be happy to introduce to as many people as I could! I think the Ancient Greeks had the best system where City officials were elected by a lottery!
I like how you assume I haven't gone to places. I also don't sit behind a computer, not sitting behind one now either. So you were wrong on both accounts there. I have talked to many Cubans, some that went to America and some that didn't. Both have different views, but some obvious share the same. While Castro bought in a few things like a better health care and made black Cubans have more of a say. He still very much ran the country as a dictatorship. Those that opposed him were sent to camps or just disappeared. I talked to one Cuban guy that had stayed in Cuba with what was left of his family. You see his dad had owned a little shop that sold papers. Some of Castro's troops didn't like that he was spreading news. So they killed him and the workers and then fire bombed his shop. His mum was also killed. So yeah he didn't really like Castro. What a few posters on here seem to think is I am calling Castro a dictator and letting the regime before him off. I am not Bastista was worse, but that doesn't let Castro off the hook for his crimes. It's easy to judge me as a person when you know nothing about me. I am not a person that simply believes everything in a paper ( I hardly read them). I am off my ass posting this btw.
