Just watched the highlights and I re-enacted my expression when JWP missed the Austin pass. Head in hands for about 2 minutes. My other half just asked if I was alright and if I had just received some bad news

What was most impressive for me was the way Sims played at the start of the 2nd half, considering he had just taken part in the half time relay....
My thoughts were something along the lines of 'are we this desperate that we're throwing a kid out there'
Martin Keown saying Ronald lacked dignity and was disrespectful about Sims and should've just said something polite and them moved the interview on.
Brilliant win today . Started brightly & I want to see more sharp quick passing & movement. All of the team played well: the two centre backs were indomitable today but Sims wins the MOTM, considering it was his professional debut! Credit to Puel for picking Sims & giving youth a chance. Nice praise on MOTD 2 too!
Both Sky and MOTD praising Josh, thought the commentator on MOTD tried to claim that Saints fans will be saying who is this lad (actually likened it to the Ali Dia situation). Right, not know a lad who is in our squad and has been at the Academy since he was knee high to a grasshopper (though admittedly that was only last week).
To be fair Koeman was polite to all our players & staff during the game & must be annoyed with how Everton played. Also we always dislike it when our manager gets asked solely about opposition players, so perhaps that is why. Eitherway, doesn't matter anymore I just want to see more Puel team performances like today!
