please log in to view this image we just need to ban the ****ing away fans then we'll finally be able to watch Hull Tigers in peace
They should have given members their seat for nothing. The attendance is going to be embarassingly poor.
The embarrassment is on their shoulders only. Any publicity the low crowd generates is a positive for the cause.
I suspect there will be more in from the East Riding than from Hull, it self, Hedon Road past Marfleet is packed after a night match
Not so long ago our Community Stadium was apparently ' to small' wannit? Even Trevor Brooking saw through some of our lot.. Allams OUT
It has been a while since we've been this close to a cup final. Two years in fact. But we've played in 8 cup quarter finals since the turn of the century so I suppose that's about our average. The worrying thing for us is that we've only turned two of those 8 into semi finals. Not a very good record when it comes to winning quarter finals. As far as the ticket thing goes, it's not so much a sense of self entitlement to expect to be able to travel to see the game, it's more surprise because of the fact that no other club we have played that hasn't expected to sell out has failed to increase the ticket allocation. But it's your club and you get to call the shots. I'm looking forward to the game, but I don't agree with the bookies. I think you lot should be favourites. We're doing quite well this year, but as today shows we are far from unbeatable even against championship opposition. Playing away to a Premier League team will be our hardest game of the season by a mile, and a big step up for us. Obviously I'd love us to win, but either way, it should be a good pointer to see how far we still have to go to rebuild. Whoever wins, it will be good to see a team that isn't from the traditional top 5 or 6 in the semi.
Jesus H C You really don't know us at all It couldn't be further from being "our" club, and the only likely way we can "call the shots" is if we get to choose what order we're all shot for being hooligans for wanting to keep the clubs name I think you should be favourites. Bring a coat, it might get chilly with the wind whipping round all the empty seats
Wasn't meaning to take the piss with that comment. I suppose it would have been better to say it's the people who made the decision's club. I have a lot of sympathy for fans who get alienated from their club by ****ty owners. Our own owner has made more than his fair share of crazy decisions over the years. I'm not completely aware of all that's involved in your fight with the Allams, but I genuinely wish you every success in your battle.
Yeah no problem, I wasn't offended, I was being slightly tongue in cheek i think our owner trumps yours in the crazy stakes, but they're both in the leading pack!
Just read this on Newcastle page... http://www.themag.co.uk/2016/11/bri...ay-global-channel-listings-newcastle-united/?
