The solution to what? We're 7th ffs Which of the following should Everton by expecting to finish ahead of this season; Arsenal, United, City, the RS, Spurs, Chelsea...??? Answers on a postcard.
Not sure who mentioned sacking Koeman.......#itwasastro So far he has us doing better than last season in a transitional year #LiverpoolFCarethetransitionaltrademarkowners with a team that is not his really.
They've had about 15 years of 'transition' out of the last 20 - the latest being last season. I think we're entitled to 1
Based on #reality none of them Based on Moshiri's claims of £100m investment in the squad, at least a couple of them since some will probably underperform IMO EL qualification should be essential for Everton and Koeman sacked if he doesn't deliver You had trouble recruiting last window and the EL will raise your profile and give you your best shot at the CL You need a manager who can guarantee 7th while prioritising the EL Right now Koeman looks like he's going to lose 7th to Watford with no other games to play so you should be #legit #worried
Well if your not606 maths is correct, you did say he managed to spend £40+m in the summer, with another window coming up.......
When Moshiri gets the chance to spend that £100m then of course the expectation will increase. But we're talking about the present, and the answer is of course none of them. So 7th and a good cup run should be his target.
£41m spent by Koeman, -£3m investment by Moshiri Since no one wants to sign for Koeman, will he even be able to get through the Lukaku money?
If he drops as low as 8th, would he keep his job? Regarding the spend.....I do believe that the spend in the summer was #£40+m
Aim to not expect to. If you only want your manager to achieve absolute par regardless of other teams (e.g. Man Utd) underperforming then why did you make him one of the highest paid managers in the world?
IMO the way Everton have rolled over the last couple of games and gifted 6th to Man Utd instead of making them fight for it is telling And Koeman comes out and says "only three points lost... weren't Chelsea good... Lukaku should get out TBH... only 2 points lost to 20th place..." Koeman's policy of aiming for no higher than 7th could easily see him miss 7th #noambition
What part of the expectation will be raised once money has been invested in the squad are you struggling with?
Money has been invested in Koeman So your policy is to double his salary and expect him to only get 7th with Everton when he got 6th with Southampton? Wow I didn't realise your #smallclubmentality had become so demoralising
I am not sure if Koeman have problems with the players, certainly supporters are not happy. Everton started well, I do not know what happened. Everton can still climb the table You are on the same points with united and united still believe that they can win the league. Why not Everton???..
He had the perfect honeymoon period but instead of building on that momentum he chose to tell his players "you could get this every week if you moved to a bigger club"
You should overhaul all the off the above teams: City - in transition with a load of old fogey Chelsea - Team who finished 10th Arsenal - Wenger is a dinosaur Liverpool - In another transition season and Brodgers is better than Klopp United - Are in meltdown Spurs and you should be challenging for the title
Good to see an everton fan admitting that their target is a mid table finish, not all fans are realistic enough to do so.
So Everton should finish above any side they finished above last season......Liverpool should also do the same....at the moment its looking like Everton will...
