Early markets suggesting a big punt going on My Target at Chelmsford tomorrow. Opened up in some places at 13/2 now some have it at 5/2. Managed to get myself a bit of 5s no less than an hour ago and already that is well gone. Looks like 7/2 is the best available.

Interesting to see Noel on Altior tomorrow - i wonder why Barry isn't on! Personally I think Andrew Thornton should have got the ride <laugh>

Poor bugger is stuck on 996 career wins and hasn't had a winner for a while. Agreed give him the leg up on Altior.

I thought we might see Jenkins making his hurdle debut at Kempton today but he has been scratched. Still entered at Newbury this Friday though.

2:35 Atirelarigo - he was well supported the last day in a much deeper race and his British debut was very good.

2:50 Going Concern - caught my eye at Aintree and this more suitable

I tell you what, troops. I’m sure that in terms to come a quiz quest will be ‘Why did Charlie Chaplin and Auric Goldfinger clash on 21 November 2016?!?’ Slightly saddened that the latter isn’t a better horse than 57 rated performer. With a moniker like that he deserves to be contesting Classics, I say Classics.

It's not going to win whoever is on it :) as I've done the Nicholls treble which was paying just over 60/1 when I put it on last night.

    15:50 Ludlow - Lac Sacre

(Breeding would suggest a mixture of middle- and long-distances, but on more than one occasion has shaped like a stayer who can handle soft ground conditions (rain forecast, I believe?). Sporting punt at the 8/1 which is on offer in a few places).

Note: At 14:15 has drifted out to 10-1. <whistle>

I think we all know where old boy ‘Enders will go after the race. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more…

Altior 'blue' across the board for the Arkle and out to 20's for the Champion Hurdle.

I say, old boy, steady on. I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling a bit queasy at that thought! That's more one for them on the 'Boxing' thread.

That it should come to this ............................ Hidden Cyclone entered for the Fighting Fifth this Saturday <doh>

Another desperately poor field for a Grade 1 event. I really don't understand this at all. is it because it is "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooop North?"

    **** me.

Surely Yanworth/ should have mopped that up with his ability and also given a real indication of whether he could do 2m, instead of a no mans land trip at Ascot.

I doubt Alan King would have wanted to send 2 to the race Toppy, Sceau Royal is already entered and is a lot more forward than Yanworth <ok>

A real dearth of 2 mile hurdlers outside Closutton. Bad for the sport.
