I can't believe the change in them from last season, don't get me wrong I didn't expect them to be fighting for the title again but I expected something other than this pile of utter crap. I'm used to having the Mickey taken because I'm a city supporter but this is getting really bad now. It's okay saying that they're concentrating on the champs league this year but surely not at the expense of relegation, because at the minute we can deny it all we like and say we're too good to go down but on this form we are going to. Come on boys get the real priorities sorted first!!!!
If I was the owner I'd be starting to ask some serious questions of the players. They've all had serious wage increases and are not performing at all to the levels required. Strange that neither Ulloa or Slimani were involved today.

I know he runs his heart out but to me Okazaki doesn't offer any attacking threat at all. He is more like a defender who plays up front. Plus he spends half the game horizontal. Cant see him starting in the champions league. We are a hard watch in the Prem at the moment. Great second half domination but never looked like scoring.
There's no argument from me on the comments about Mahrez not contributing enough to deserve a starting place. Far too soft and always looking for the freekick if he gets the slightest challenge. And yes, Gray and Kapustka must be wondering why they were brought here. Nor would I disagree with the comments about Okazaki. He can't ever be faulted for his effort but still seems to be suffering from that inner ear infection that causes him to lose his balance. And he certainly doesn't inspire confidence when he has the ball in front of goal. Too many players look like they are now happy to turn up and take the fat pay cheque but not put in the effort. They've won the medal and that's job done for them. We don't actually look like a team any more. We aren't creating chances in front of goal, and if we don't score goals then we are definitely going to be in a relegation scrap. I do have serious doubts about the way we are playing. I love the effort that Drinkwater puts in and his vision, but the worrying thing is that he makes the most passes by far in our team but he is also the one who gives the ball away far too often. There seems to be too much emphasis on trying to play one touch football irrespective of the quality, with the result being that the ball doesn't reach it's intended target and we concede possession, sometimes in dangerous places. Sometimes you have to vary the style, keep possession and have a patient build up. It might help if Drinkwater had an effective midfield partner and wasn't having to fulfil 2 roles on his own. He is our main break up player and the one who gets the attack going and he shouldn't be having to do both roles on his own. We are woefully short of another quality strong midfielder along the lines of Matic. Neither King nor Amartey look capable of playing that role. Is James or Mendy up to the job? Something needs to happen pretty quickly, and I wonder if we have anyone lined up in the transfer window.

...one positive...Schlupp looked good after coming on ... great run beating 2 men to get to the byline and excellent pull back that Musa should have done a lot better with ...might be time to consider 5 across the back or even playing Fuchs at centre back or as the defensive midfielder...and Mahrez as a number 10... Roll on Tuesday ...

Yeah cus we scored 3 penalties yesterday. I seem to remember our opposition scoring a pen and Erm oh yes your goal was a pen. I'd love to go through all your games this season and see how many shots on target you've had. You can't compare the champions league completely different groups. We'd walk your group you wouldnt get a point in ours
