Hard to blame them to be honest...people are paying hard earned money to be entertained and this is anything but entertainment imo.

Rose running into three defenders, for some reason.
He looks a bit off today.

We're simply not dominating the midfield. Doesn't matter who the opposition is, if we carry on with this strange experimental formation it's going to end in defeat

I would be absolutely amazed if that is true. Seems absurd.

This formation would be fine at 0-0, but it's not going to get us back into the game. Walker and rose don't seem to be getting in behind the full backs, which seemed like our only way of threatening with pace.
What has happened to our counter attacking football we used to play? It's like the life has been sucked out of us. Very frustrating.

I agree with you, and I believe he had no interest in going to Everton. The point I'm making is that we didn't have to sell to avoid going bust. Our finances have been good for years. So to suggest that we would sell him to yourselves and receive a possible total payment of £6m is plainly ridiculous - though I admit that our owner has been bitten before for a £130m stadium payment faux pas when he didn't do due diligence into our accounts.

If it was £6m though, you've been robbed <laugh>

  8. N'Koudou is needed - Eriksen isn't!! Certainly on this form.....

Walker makes a surging run and then remembers that we're a team who must be slow, so turns around.

There's no pace anywhere except the full backs. Whatever the plan was, it isn't working. We need Dele and Son for the second half.

Don't think the suggestion is of a forced sale like that, but more a case of would
interest in him (and thus his peak value) go downhill from that point on.

"If it was £6m though, you've been robbed"

For the season to date, it would seem so. :(

Really poor half. 2 up front hasn't worked, Eriksen might as well change his middle name to 'half arsed'.

I'm really worried at this stage of Poch's career if he thinks formations like this are a good idea.

A new "Arry" moment in what is one of the most important weeks of the season ??
I also believe there is no hairdryer treatment from Pochettino, as no way can
Eriksen continue to perform like this.

    1-0 HT. Rubbish.
No width, no pace, no movement, no energy and no penetration.
Our defenders all look a bit leggy too, which isn't good.

Need to make at least one sub at the break, though we don't have that much on the bench.
Could've done with wide options and a striker there, in my opinion.
    Not looking good at all.

We really have perfected the art of faffing around on the ball. First half showed no penetration or ability to press the opposition. I just don't get what it is Poch is telling them to go out and do

  19. Eriksens bang on head reminds me of story about the Partick manager John Lambie's response to being told that the striker Colin McGlashan was concussed and didn't know who he was: "Tell him he's Pele and get him back on."
We should just have told him he wasn't ****!!!

The unbeaten run in the premier league is hiding a multitude of sins imo.
We have only won 7 matches out of 17 and have only scored 23 goals (5 against Gillingham). We have only scored 3 goals in our last 5 and half matches and all have been penalties.
We have only scored more than 1 goal in 4 matches...I do not see that changing while we keep playing like this.
We either play to Jannsens strengths or do not play him. Eriksen is not delivering but keeps his place. And have no width.
Apart from that it's all great!
Oh and our substitutions rarely change anything for the better.
The players, the manager and the coaches need to have a look at themselves cos none of them are delivering at the moment and haven't done so since the city match.
