It's like both these clubs have misunderstood the game and teach their players that the objective is to avoid the rectangular 'danger zones' at either end of the pitch and concentrate their efforts on spending as much time as they can in the circular 'live game zone' in the middle

McCunty putting across his [HASHTAG]#neutral[/HASHTAG] opinion as usual

Jose Mourinho had every right to be aggrieved at that penalty refusal. Clumsy from Nacho Monreal in a very dangerous position.

Mourinho is really ticking now after some of referee Andre Marriner's decisions - but he can be happier with his team because they are looking far more dangerous than Arsenal.

<laugh>

[HASHTAG]#bbcsalford[/HASHTAG] desperate to claim Man Utd should have had a penalty, even making it their front page headline, despite the fact that even Gary Neville says no chance

Both teams look poor today with Utd slightly better. As Solid said Ramsey has been poor but so has Martial too. Never a £50 million player. Carlton looks average. The best player on the pitch? Valencia.

"Sir Alex Ferguson is all smiles as he makes his way out of the directors' box at half-time, posing for selfies with Manchester United fans. Not sure he would be laughing so much if he was still United manager when referee Andre Marriner refused that first-half penalty."

<laugh> FFS let it go McCunty

Neville would normally be saying it was a pen but he wants Jose out <laugh>
I am not saying it was a pen but thought Monreal fell unnaturally i.e. He put his arm out to impede Valencia i think - so had it been given I would not have been surprised - very clumsy and very stupid or very clever cause he got away with it ?

His brother is saying otherwise. Handbags in the Neville house tonight

Of the penalty incident on the first viewing I thought Monreal was clumsy and had his arm across Valencia and the pen would be given. But I think the ref got it right. But there is Moureens excuse now whatever happens.
