    Facts, Kempton facts.

Name a Hull City owner from Hull. Can think of a couple of East Riding ones. Chillo, all time top scorer, from East Riding. Good job Hull City isn't restricted to owners, players and fans from within the Hull boundaries.

Out of interest why is it important to you? East Riding, Hull, The South Pole...if you support, own or play for City isn't that what matters?

Your comma should have come after my username. Facts Kempton, facts. 1/ We're all skint in Hull, so we couldn't really afford to buy it. 2/ We love Chillo and he could've come from Scotland, we really couldn't give a flying...

3/ The East Riding are welcome to come and support our team/club, we're no snobs, no heirs and graces here.

Yes, all the successful people live in the East Riding. The first thing anyone who is successful in Hull does is move to the East Riding. Ask Lambo. <laugh> The days of a local owner, running a club as a personal sideline, Longson at Derby, Bob Lord at Burnley(before your time) have long gone.
But Chillo was a fellow East Ridinger, not a sweaty.

Looks like there won't be many who have money in the future with their being no heirs in Hull. Let's hope if by chance anyndo strike it rich that they don't put on any airs and graces.

I wasn't the one who was calling people from the East Riding nimbys. It is some people from Hull that have the problems with those from outside. Starting with Geraghty.

Plenty of nimbys in Hull also has so East Riding made you soft.

These arguments are so tiresome. There's obviously a big NIMBY attitude from some in ER. The same types who like to pretend they have nothing do with Hull. In reality parts of the East Riding are the suburbs of Hull which are only not Hull by a boundary quirk. There really shouldn't be any kind of snobbery or competition between the two. I've always been equally proud to be from Hull and East Yorkshire. Much more so than Yorkshire as a whole.

You think there aren't any NIMBYS IN Hull? Or snobbery, or more accurately inverted snobbery?

Oh ok. I'll be honest I didn't read the rest of the thread I just clicked on the last page to see if the willy wonkey (sic) glass elevator was ready.

I still don't get the Hull vs ER thing if I'm honest. For me the two places are my home and childhood/teenage playgrounds. ER and Hull are, for me, like a scotch egg. The sausage meat and the hard boiled egg are both a delight on their own but wrap one around the other and you have something special....and possibly fart inducing.

You seem to be missing my point Castro. Why would I care if all the successful people live in the East Riding? They're successful, they can move to wherever their hearts desire. Good luck to them.

    By the way, your spelling?

That was why I put a smiley on. There are plenty of failures in the East Riding. Including sons who are a major disappointment to their father.

Victoria is a guilty secret. Real normal clean living lass but has an engaging friendliness and sincerity that Keeley can only dream of, she doesn't flirt with Levy, and she doesn't have that dumb Yellowbelly accent of Leanne Brown. (Not the artificiality of Sarah Walton or alien Midwich Cuckoo lass Gemma Dawson either.)
We don't see enough of her out on location so we can formulate a more complete appraisal.

    There.

    I said it.
